The University of Ljubljana publishes 56 international scientific journals published at the University of Ljubljana. All journals are open access. Most editorial boards follow the open access diamond model, i.e. immediate free access to scientific papers without payment of publication costs - i.e. publication is free of charge for the authors or their institutions. University of Ljubljana Press operates a web portal, ULP Journals, on which 30 of 55 scientific journals can currently be found. More than 12,500 articles have been published on the portal.
