La traduzione dei petrarchisti

In occasione del convegno internazionale dal titolo Tasso e i croati, svoltosi a Dubrovnik nel dicembre 1995, Tomasovié ha presentato il suo: Torquato Tasso: ljuvene rane/Le piaghe d'amore , un'antologia, con testo originale a fronte, delle migliori traduzioni in croato del vasto opus tassiano dal1580 ai giorni nostri in cui figurano traduttori (che sono a loro volta poeti, scrittori e teorici della letteratura) come Dominko Zlatarié, Ivan Gundulié, August Senoa, Ivan Mazuranié, Vladimir Nazor, Frano Cale, Ivan Slaming, Nikola Milicevié, Luko Paljetak e lo stesso Tomasovié. Si tratta di un volume in cui l'autore ha inteso raccogliere il fior fiore della traduzione croata, il cui fervore, a detta di Tomasovié, non conosce equivalenti in Europa.
