Reform of education on system in FranceAbstract
Findeisen outlines the reform of French secondary education and attempts a comparison with the reform of education in Slovenia. She concludes that the French education authorities have realized that primary stress should be put on goals instead of subjects, therefore the reform is primarily concerned with coherent connections between subjects. According to Findeisen, the basic question which we must pose ourselves in reforming Slovenian education is as to what to do in order for young people to leave school better equipped for life in various circumstances, to be more independent, self-reliant and prepared for changes.
