Povzetek

The study identifies the changes in the living conditions in the Agglomeration of Warsaw 1995-2001 and their impact upon the decentralisation process of the population and busi-nesses. It has been confirmed that spatial re-distribution of people and jobs in suburban zone is affected by the living conditions in the areas, but the impact of land rent seems to be also important.
