Abstract

A complex and rationally only partly accessible question is dealt with. In the art of music one speaks of individual national identities within Central Europe (Mitteleuropa), of what is common within differences. Which is not a mechanical sum, since common denominators should be taken into account. The position of Slovene music in that of Central Europe is dealt with analytically.
