The article tries to illuminate the effects of the newly new-constructed Provincial Theatre in Ljubljana between 1892 and 1914. This was the time, when the two directorates shared joint theatre premises: Slovene and German. The author draws attention to the main characteristics (technical, organizing, repertory and performing) of the two national managements and tries to compare them and to point out the principal distinctions between them.Downloads
