Abstract

From 1903 until 1941 twenty three essays on European music were published in the Serbian Literary Magazine, on the subject of music classicism, romanticism and modernism. This article aims to present a survey, a typology and the analysis of those essays.

    Aleksandar VASIĆ (alvasic@yubc.net) je diplomiral na Oddelku za muzikologijo Fakultete za glasbo na Univerzi za umetnosti v Beogradu. Magistriral je na Oddelku za primerjalno književnost in literarno teorijo Filozofske fakultete Univerze v Beogradu (teza: Glasbena publicistika v Srpskem književnem glasniku 1901-1941). Deluje kot raziskovalni asistent na Muzikološkem inštitutu Srbske akademije znanosti in umetnosti v Beogradu. Raziskuje predvsem zgodovino glasbene kritike in zapisovanja glasbe v Srbiji v 19. in 20. stoletju.
