Piano Works of František Josef Benedikt Dusík

Abstract

The piano compositions of Dusík reveal a skilful composer and a brilliant  pianist. The structural clarity and fantasy freedom, the dramatic expression, the piano eruption of extensive codas and the link between the movements of the cyclic structure show the composer's excellent knowledge of contemporary style and gives proof of the aesthetic persuasiveness of his oeuvre.
