Among the musicians of Slovene origin, who were active abroad, the town musician Andreas from Ljubljana is mentioned in the town of Fano, south of Pesaro in 1472. Researches into the origin of town musicians in Ljubljana in the first half of the 16th century mainly point to German examples, while new information – taken in conjuction with other data – justifies the theory that the influence of Italy, especially the concrete influence of towns in the Marche could have played a certain role.Downloads
