Appariran per me le stell'in cielo Orlanda di Lassa in Julija Skjavetića. Stilno-kritična primerjava

Glede na to, da je struktura renesančnega madrigala v veliki meri določena z odnosom med tekstom in glasbo, omogoča primerjava dveh ali več del na isti tekst dragoceno možnost odkrivanja osebnega izraza posameznih skladateljev. V pričujočem prispevku sta analizirana in primerjana dva madrigala, ki sta bila komponirana na isti tekst na začetku klasične dobe v razvijanju te kompozicijske vrste. Lassova skladba je nastala med leti 1552 in 1554 (prvič objavljena 1560), Skjavetićeva pa je bila objavljena leta 1562. Predloga Appariran per me le stell' in cielo, na katero sta bila komponirana oba madrigala, je tipično petrarkistična alegorična slika v enajstercu, bogata na metaforah in izrazitih muzikabilnih kvalitetah. Lasso in Skjavetić sta pristopila k temu tekstu na bistveno različen način. Na temelju istih značilnosti renesančne polifonije je vsak od njiju ustvaril izrazito oseben glasbeni korelat pesnitve. Čeravno je Skjavetić na začetku svojega madrigala prinesel melodični citat v čast velikemu mojstru, je nadaljnji potek njegove skladbe popolnoma različen od Lassove. O tem ne govorijo samo modus in kadence, ampak tudi tekstura in formalna zasnova njegovega madrigala. Medtem ko se Lassova glasba giblje brez ekstremnih notnih vrednosti, s pogosto rabo silabičnosti in sloga nota proti noti, z zmerno rabo ponavljanja in redkih primerov deskriptivniosti, pa je Skjavetić v svojem madrigalu razvil bogat kontrapunktični slog, ki ga označujejo komplicirana ponavljanja manjših ali večjih delov teksta, mojstrska raba kadenc, kontrastiranje med bujno melizmatiko in silabičnostjo kot nasprotjema med posameznimi vrstami gibanja. Lassova skladba rase v širokem loku k zaključku in deluje kot vedra, lahkotna slika, nastala iz splošne atmosfere teksta, Skjavetić pa je s fino igro detajlov oživel slikovite, emocionalne in zvočne plasti poetične predolge.Downloads
