Bibliographical Data of the Compositions by Franc Šturm

Franc Šturm's promising artistic career was already at its beginning abruptly cut short by the World War II. Today he is more generally known only by the opinion that he was to have been the artistic and compositional prolongation of the pursuits of Slavko Osterc and Alois Hába, his two main teachers. From the accessible material and manuscripts it is now possible to establish that at an early stage already Šturm had outgrown the academic setting both as regards the volume and the musical value of his compositions.Downloads
