The article deals with the concept of description of the compositional structure. It proceeds from several musical-analytic procedures or methods. In the first place, it concerns thequestions of "contextualization" of the description of music, in which some epistemological categories are discussed that generate musical meaning. Along with this the issue of analytic focal points within the framework of certain currently topical points of departure of the musical analysis is touched upon which raises two themes: the aim of musical analysis and the relation between the subjectivity and the objectivity of a particular description.Downloads
