Abstract

The article presents critics, writers and intellectuals gathered in the editorial of the Argentinean cultural magazine Contorno (1953-1959) - the representatives of the generation that occurred after so called "martinfierrists" (authors who published in the avantgarde magazine Martín Fierro) - and analyze their diverse views on still not completely defined social and cultural phenomenon of Peronism. The author expose the intellectual and political vision, which can be deduced from the editorial record in the no. 7/8, and two articles on this subject, which bring important perspectives within the framework of literary criticism on the one hand (Oscar Masotti) and history on the other (Tulio Halperin Donghi).
