Abstract

The verbal aspect is the topic of Slavic languages. Nevertheless it was always a question for the romance linguistics, if it is also possible to detect the distinction between perfect and imperfect aspect in a romance verb, which is clearly detectable in the choice and in the semantic opposition of the verbs such as “to say–to  speak”. This is also valid for the use of those verbal periphrasis which express the beginning or the end of the verbal event and not the aspect. This paper seeks to determine whether the reflexive form of the verb, for example acordarse – “to remember” is for some verbs the opportunity to express the perfective action in Spanish, that is to say verbal aspect.
