Abstract

Si Cervantes pudiera revivir levantándose de su tumba y observar lo que los comentadores tradicionales han hecho de su libro, es muy probable que dijera, palabra más o palabra menos, lo siguiente: Oh, comentadores, si quisiéreis hacerme un mayor agravio que el que me habéis hecho remendando a vuestro capricho, mi, ahora por vuestra culpa, desventurado libro, no podríais conseguirlo aun si lo quisiéreis.
