Hay ocasiones en que reseñar una novedad bibliográfica tiene un móvil no fiel a lo que se espera de la reseña como práctica intelectual. Si casi siempre anticipar el contenido y fun cionalidad de un libro apunta a su difusión y venta, en esta ocasión se propone su provecho, pero más su trascendencia. Se trata de un libro póstumo de Alfonso Sola González, nombre que por sí solo es una promesa si se conoce la importancia del autor como poeta del '40 y su aporte a la enseñanza e investigación en cuanto docente de la especialidad Literatura Argentina. De su labor creadora quedaron títulos muy celebrados como La casa muerta, Elegías de San Miguel, Cantos para el atardecer de una diosa y Cantos a la noche. Sola González, fallecido en 1975, dejó una significativa producción inedita de Ia que Ia Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de Ia Universidad Nacional de Cuyo ha rescatado ltinerario expresivo de Leopolda Lugones, édito en 1999.
