De siglo a siglo es un amplio estudio sobre la obra periodística de Emilia Pardo Bazán, donde se incluyen las crónicas nacidas al calor de los acontecimientos ocurridos tras el 98. El texto es una colección de artículos que doña Emilia quiso editar en el tomo XXIV de sus Obras completas. En estos ensayos se muestran una infinidad de temas y preocupaciones que tenía la escritora gallega durante el periodo finisecular. En concreto, Bazán pone en evidencia la general indiferencia pública ante la guerra Hispano Americana (1898) y la crítica situación social, política y religiosa de España en este tiempo. También la periodista trata sobre el feminismo, denunciando las desigualdades que existían en la sociedad española tanto en el ámbito de la formación académica, como en el laboral.Downloads
