Journal History

The Journal for Foreign Languages is the successor of the journal Vestnik Društva za tuje jezike in književnosti, which was published between 1962 and 2006. This journal was discontinued with the dissolution of the Association for Foreign Languages and Literatures since it no longer had a formal publisher. A team of researchers from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ljubljana revived the journal and published the first issue in 2009. The editorial policy remains similar to the one of the original journal.
