Teaching Literature With Pictures: Visual Representations of the Context and Imagery in Literary Works

Literature and art influence each other reciprocally, but it is rarely used in the teaching of literature. And the teacher has everything to gain by using this potential: not just to illustrate a text, but as a true didactic tool. Thus, it‘s possible to show the complexity of the context, to immerse themselves in his actuality. And implement analytical methods differently.
