Given that Gregor Perko’s bibliography is available at a link to SICRIS, the author of this article preferred to highlight some of the character traits of her colleague, which are evident from the paratext of his works: a sense of humour, passion for fiction, and benevolence and collegiality. The author also recalled her professional collaboration with her colleague, thus shedding further light on his personality. She concluded her contribution with two notes of appreciation written to professor Perko by two former students of French.
