Nematopopulation in the soil is statistically significantly affected by different soil reactions. In the experiments that were conducted it was found out that a rather acid soil was more suitable for P. crenatus and phytophagous nematodes used in the experiment while less acid or neutral soil was preferred by bacteriovorous nematodes. Nematode populations in soil were also influenced by soil type.
