Abstract

Nine local vinifera grapevine cultivars from ampelographic collection in Brda were studied according to the O. I. V. descriptors and phyllometry. Levels of similarity, possible homonyms and synonyms in ordering the cultivars have been analyzed using cluster analysis. All cultivars can be divided into two groups. In the first group there are cultivars: 'Zelenka', 'Verduc', 'Glera' and 'Pikolit'; and in the second there are: 'Tržarka', 'Cencukna', 'Markaduška', 'Sušc' and 'Pika'. Small differences between the cultivars 'Zelenka', 'Glera' and 'Pikolit' and cultivars 'Sušc' and 'Pika' were recorded.
