V romanu H(A)PPY Nicole Barker se posameznikov upor in pobeg iz virtualnega, nadzorovanega in uniformiranega sveta mojstrsko odraža tudi s pomočjo tipografije. Enako kot posameznik, ki kljubuje tej novi realnosti, besedilo spodkopava pripovedne in tipografske norme ter vabi bralce, da se udeležijo potovanja dešifriranja kod in znakov. Članek raziskuje tipografske oblikovne eksperimente, ki prispevajo k besedilni interpretaciji na ravni drugih pripovednih elementov. Identificira in analizira dvajset inovacij v zvezi s tipografijo, s katerimi avtorica razširi možnosti razumevanja večpomenskosti romana.
