Prevajanje srednjeveške latinske lirikeAbstract
Srednjeveška latinska lirika obsega domala tisočletno obdobje izjemno bogate in mnogovrstne ustvarjalnosti, ki se v svojih začetkih navezuje na religiozno poezijo antičnega krščanstva in v nadaljnjem poteku ob konstanti nabožne lirike že zgodaj seže po posvetnih temah in razvije pisano paleto raznovrstnih pesniških oblik in miselnih vzorcev. Časovni lok se torej pne od najbolj zgodnjih začetkov v 6. stoletju prek karolinške renesanse in pokarolinške dobe tja v visoki srednji vek in k duhovni, predvsem frančiškanski liriki 13.in 14. stoletja. Znova in znova so se srednjeveški pesniki vsepovsod po Evropi latinske tradicije preizkušali v metričnih in zvokovnih možnostih latinščine, da bi peli slavo Boga, ajegove matere in svetnikov v himnah in sekvencah, da bi izrazili osebno pobožnost in svoj teološki in duhovni nazor, pa tudi, da bi dali izraza svojemu družbenokritičnemu stališču ali duška svoji radoživosti kot popotni kleriki in sholarji ob kockah in vinu, predvsem pa, da bi opevali mogočno čustvo ljubezni v vseh njenih variacijah.
