Povzetek

IZVLEČEK

Namen: Raziskava je poskušala dobiti vpogled v informacijski svet slovenskega podeželja. Gre za eksploratorno študijo informacijskih potreb, načinov ter virov iskanja informacij na podeželju.
Metodologija/pristop: Raziskava je izhajala iz metodologije ustvarjanja smisla Brende Dervin. Opravljeno je bilo 25 usmerjenih intervjujev s prebivalci podeželske lokalne skupnosti. Vzorec spraševancev je bil izbran namerno. Posnetki intervjujev so bili prepisani, povzeti in obdelani v kvalitativni vsebinski analizi.
Rezultati: V analizi so bile oblikovane tipologije vrzeli v kontekstu posameznika, gospodarskih dejavnosti in lokalne skupnosti. Kategorije vrzeli so podrobneje opisane glede na vsebino vprašanj oziroma problemov ter z načini reševanja. Predstavljenih je 20 kategorij v kontekstu posameznika, 17 kategorij, povezanih z gospodarsko dejavnostjo, in 6 kategorij, ki se nanašajo na celotno lokalno skupnost. Dobljena slika informacijskih potreb in načinov iskanja govori o ključni vlogi informacij oziroma znanja v kmetijski dejavnosti, medtem ko imajo na ravni posameznika ključno vlogo medosebni viri in strokovnjaki.
Omejitve raziskave: Velikost vzorca ne dovoljuje posploševanja rezultatov.
Izvirnost/uporabnost raziskave: Rezultati omogočajo razumevanje potreb po informacijah in načinov iskanja v podeželskem okolju.
