IZVLEČEK

Članek opisuje bibliografske družine v vzajemnem katalogu COBIB, njihovo velikost in raznovrstnost. Na naključnem vzorcu bibliografskih zapisov so obravnavani tudi odnosi med družinskimi člani. Ker so odnosi v katalogu slabo in nedosledno izraženi, bi bilo potrebno vključiti podatke o vrsti odnosa in med seboj povezati ustrezne zapise. Tako bi uporabnikom olajšali iskanje med različicami istega dela, izboljšali uspešnost iskanja v katalogu in omogočili boljšo izkoriščenost knjižničnih fondov.
