II bel volume qui recensito è una miscellanea in memoria dello scienziato svizze ro recentemente scomparso, autore di numerosi studi e, soprattutto, ideatore e creatore del Rumatsch Grischun (RG) e del Ladin Dolomitan (LD). Il contenuto del volume riflette l'interesse e J'attività scientifica dello Scomparso: alle pagine introduttive (una foto, tre prefazioni, sommario, biografia e bibliografia: pp. 4-20; in seg. senza pp.) seguono venti contributi (quindici in tedesco, cinque in italiano), raggruppati in cinque sezioni: Dachsprachen (2 testi), Rumantsch Grischun und Bündnerromanisch (5-), Ladin Dolomitan und Dolomiten-ladinisch (5-), Toponomastik (2-) e Varia (6-). I col- 204 laboratori sono tutti nomi rinomati; eppure riteniamo che sarebbero utili i dati essen ziali sulle loro sedi universitarie e sui relativi dominî scientifici.
