Abstract

Le presént article a pour but d'exposer une analyse critique sur la nature et le fonc­ tionnement des faits accentuels en français, notamment tels qu'ils sont manifestés dans un corpus sélectionné de textes médiatiques, et surtout ceux qui se présentent dans les émissions d'information télevisées. Ce type de discours présente quelques particular­ ités accentuelles qui sont d'autant plus intéressantes si l'on considère l'influence qu'ont les médias électroniques sur la potentialité de la formation normative d'un code, partagé par les membres (téléspectateurs) d'une communauté linguistique.
