Za kraj ob Kolpi vzhodno od Črnomlja pri Pleteršniku in v Slovarju slov. knj. j. ni ustreznega apelativa, pač pa je v gradivu za ta slovar v Inštitutu za slov. j. pri SAZU listek za toponim. Tam navedena literatura izvaja Griblje iz groblje in primerja narečni mij nam. moj. Shrv. slovarji navajajo za besedo griblja pomen »brazda«, plural torej »brazde« in tako pridemo do pomena »kos obdelane zemlje«, ki ga ima beseda griblja v singularu (!) in pluralu v latinsko pisanih shrv. virih. Teh očividno pisci shrv. slovarjev še niso izkoristili. Naj mi bo dovoljeno tu opozoriti na Lexicon latinitatis medii aevi Iugoslaviae vol. 1 (A - K), Zagreb 1973, ki seveda upošteva tudi slovenske vire. Drugi del je že pripravljen in se deloma že tiska. (Pripravlja se pa že tudi gradivo za slovar latinščine novega veka.) Na str. 519 s. v. gribglia, gribilia, f. prinaša naslednje: »(serb.-croat. greblja, griblja) - areola, particula terrae cultae: lijeha, komadić obradene zemlje.«
