Krajem prošle godine pojavilo se iz štampe IV dopunjeno izdanje tog odličnog udžbenika iz romanistike ko ji se iako je izraden po prcigramima koji vrijede za talijansku univerzitetsku nast~vμ, upotrebljava u brojnim drugim sveučilištima svelikim uspjehom (o čemu svjedoče i brojne u predgovoru navedene recenzije ranijih izdanja) pa tako i kod nas. Kako kod nas to djelo još nijerecenzirano, to je ovo prilika da se sa stanovišta naših znanstvenih i nastavnih desiderata osvijetli. S toga se naša recenzija nece ograničiti na razlike u usporedbi s III izdanje). (koje su zbilja minimalne i iznose svega nešto oko pet strana pri čemu je autorda dobije mjesta za više stotina sitnih dopuna i ispravka - ponekad skracivao prvotni tekst).
