Vloga z informacijsko-komunikacijskimi tehnologijami podprtih kognitivno vedenjskih intervenc pri obravnavi nespečnosti v obdobju pozne odraslosti

Povzetek

V obdobju pozne odraslosti se pri posameznikih pričnejo pojavljati številne spremembe v spanju, ki lahko privedejo do težav s spanjem ali motenj spanja. Najpogostejša motnja spanja v pozni odraslosti je nespečnost. Terapija prvega izbora zanjo je kognitivno-vedenjska terapija za nespečnost (KVT-n), ki ima zaradi svoje učinkovitosti in odsotnosti neželenih učinkov še posebej pri starejših pomembne prednosti. Glede na visoko prevalenco nespečnosti v obdobju pozne odraslosti in obenem omejenem dostopu do strokovnjakov za motnje spanja se v zadnjem času iščejo učinkovite oblike obravnave s KVT-n, ki bi bile na voljo širšemu krogu uporabnikov. Eden izmed načinov, kako bi lahko to dosegli, je z uporabo informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologij (IKT). Namen pričujočega narativnega preglednega članka je pregledati obstoječe z IKT podprte KVT-n intervence v literaturi, preučiti njihovo učinkovitost in dejavnike, ki vplivajo na učinkovitost pri zdravljenju nespečnosti v pozni odraslosti. Dodatno želimo kritično ovrednotiti možnosti razvoja in uporabe le-teh na populaciji starejših v Sloveniji. Na podlagi preteklih študij ugotavljamo, da z IKT podprta KVT-n predstavlja učinkovit pristop pri obravnavi nespečnosti, pri čemer lahko širšo in enostavnejšo uporabo pri starejših spodbudimo z določenimi prilagoditvami. Zaključujemo, da imajo z IKT podprte KVT-n intervence velik potencial za dostopno obravnavo nespečnosti ter bi lahko pripomogle k izboljšanju kakovosti spanja v pozni odraslosti.
